The Calgary Selects faced strong competition at the 2010 Powerhockey Cup Tournament in Toronto. Despite winning 2 out of 3 round robin games, the Selects fell to a tough Toronto Lake Raiders team in the quarter finals and ultimately ended up finishing in 6th place.
The CPHL would like to extend their thanks to the Toronto organizers for hosting a great tournament and to the participants, the Toronto Rock, the Toronto Lake Raiders, the Minnesota Stars, the Minnesota Saints, the Michigan Mustangs, the Carolina Fury, and the Ottawa Capitals who participated in their very first Tournament.
A tripping penalty has been added to the minor penalties section of the rulebook. The unsportsmanlike penalty has been amended. These changes take effect immediately. See the "Rules and Regulations" section of the website for the most recent changes.
