Calgary Power Hockey League

This award is presented to the player selected by the coaches to be the unsung hero of the league. This player makes key blocks, critical clears of the zone and timely checks that most fans don't even notice or appreciate. This player plays any position without complaint - forward, defence, goalie, face-off specialist - whatever the team needs. This player can be the type who brings needed intensity into the game or can be the one who lightens things up with levity. Everything this player brings to the game doesn't necessarily show up in the box score, but those really paying attention know how important they are.
